An AEW star recently mocked Buddy Matthews. The said star had a match with the latter on a recent edition of an AEW show. The star in question is former WWE wrestler Mansoor.

Mansoor and his tag team partner Mason Madden (collectively known as MxM Collection in All Elite Wrestling) took on House of Black's Buddy Matthews and Brody King in a Friday Night Fashion Fight on the September 6 edition of Rampage. The formerly called Maximum Male Models lost the tag team bout on Rampage.

Following the loss, Mansoor and Madden vented their frustration in an exclusive video shared by the Jacksonville-based promotion on X (fka Twitter). In the video, Mansoor took a shot at Buddy Matthews. It should be noted that Murphy is married in real life to WWE star Rhea Ripley. Mansoor could have been referencing Ripley in his statement.

He said, "House of Black, Buddy Matthews, you may have won the match, but we won the game of life. [Do] you want to know why? Because beautiful people all over the world want us. They want to kiss us in the mouth. No attractive woman will ever want you, let alone a super duper-hot one." [H/T: Fightful]

AEW's Buddy Matthews sends a non-PG message to Rhea Ripley

A few days ago, Buddy Matthews logged onto his Instagram account to share a cute non-PG message for his wife, Rhea Ripley. It looks like Halloween is one of his favorite times of the year, and he is eagerly waiting for it to arrive and spend it with his better half.

"ITS OFFICIALLY RUB HER B**TY & WATCH SCARY MOVIES SEASON. [autumn leaves emoji] [heart emoji]," wrote Buddy on his IG caption.

Buddy started dating fellow wrestler, 'The Eradicator' Rhea Ripley, in 2022. The couple got engaged in August 2023 and got married in June this year. Buddy works for Tony Khan while his wife is in AEW's rival company, WWE. Despite this, the two stars have made their relationship work.
