Jon Moxley joined forces with Marina Shafir on the August 28 episode of AEW Dynamite after a two-month absence from television. In an exclusive interview, former AEW TBS Champion, Willow Nightingale, gave her thoughts on the new alliance.

Moxley, sporting a shaven-headed look, called out Darby Allin and cryptically told announcer Tony Schiavone that AEW "is no longer your company." Later in the show, the former AEW World Champion and Shafir attacked security guards and a cameraman backstage.

Speaking to Sportskeeda Wrestling's Senior Editor, Bill Apter, Nightingale backed Moxley to deliver on his recent message, as he has always done. She noted she had no idea what he meant or what was going to happen but advised everyone to "sit back and see what unfolds."

"I don't know exactly what he means. I think whatever he means it's gotta change something because I feel like Mox coming into AEW and then he famously said that he's creating the paradigm shift, right? That's him. That's exactly what happened. So if he's saying, 'Sorry, this isn't your company anymore, guys,' I don't know what's in store, but he very clearly knows what he's talking about, he has his own plan, and I think we just have to sit back and see what unfolds," she said. Nightingale shared the ring with Shafir several times in 2022 and 2023. Addressing the former MMA star's involvement in the storyline, the CMLL World Women's Champion made it clear that Shafir should be taken seriously.

"When we talk about Marina Shafir, she is somebody who legitimately could probably break us all in half, so it does send a chill down my spine, so I will keep my eyes [on what happens next] and I will keep eyes in the back of my head also," Nightingale added. [10:40 – 11:01]

Willow Nightingale on Jamie Hayter's AEW return

On August 25, Jamie Hayter made her return at All In at Wembley Stadium to confront Saraya. Since then, she has defeated Harley Cameron and Robyn Renegade on AEW Dynamite.

Willow Nightingale has been impressed with Hayter's in-ring performances and is looking forward to seeing what she does next.

"The past two matches I've seen her have on Dynamite have really been killer. They really have. She's been showing that she's not let up in her time away. She's still sipping on that Hayterade and strong as hell and fierce as hell, and I'm excited to kinda see what she unleashes on all of us," she said. [11:45 – 12:08]

On September 7, Nightingale will take on her former tag team partner Kris Statlander in a Chicago Street Fight at All Out.
