Vince McMahon's upcoming docuseries on Netflix, simply titled Mr. McMahon, has drawn some mixed reactions from veterans across the wrestling world. Those who knew McMahon personally seem split on whether the series will be truthful, and that includes WWE Hall of Famer and current AEW star Jake 'The Snake' Roberts.

Jake Roberts had a difficult relationship with Vince McMahon, and he hasn't been kind in his retrospectives on the former WWE CEO. As for the upcoming docuseries, the AEW star isn't convinced that it will be entirely truthful.

Vince McMahon's involvement with the series has sparked controversy, with many believing some of his more sensitive dealings will be glossed over. At a recent virtual signing for Signed by Superstars, Jake 'The Snake' Roberts was asked if he would watch the docuseries, and the legend admitted that he expects it to be filled with 'bulls**t.'

"Possibly [I’ll watch Netflix’s Vince McMahon docuseries). I’m gonna wait and find out how much truth’s involved first… (Host mentioned it could be 'a lot of bulls**t'] Which is what I expect," Roberts said. [H/T POST Wrestling]

WWE reportedly unhappy with upcoming Vince McMahon docuseries

Vince McMahon is a pioneer in the wrestling industry, but he's also one of its most controversial figures. With his upcoming Netflix docuseries set to touch on the lawsuit brought against him by former WWE employee Janel Grant, tension has risen among those who might be affected.

The Wrestling Observer's Dave Meltzer recently reported that there are people in WWE who aren't happy about the docuseries for multiple reasons. Meltzer implied that the series might cover controversial subjects that portray the former WWE CEO in a negative light, but its potential glossing of his recent history might also upset others:

"I know that there are people who are in WWE who are not happy with it," Meltzer said. "I don't know how fair it is to Vince ... but there are people there — these are pro-Vince people [who aren't happy], but if it was a fair documentary, how could they be? We'll see, but I am certain that the people who are really, really anti-Vince will not be happy [either]."

McMahon has a long and complicated history in the wrestling business. Whether the docuseries delves fully into his dealings, both good and bad, remains to be seen.
