Kazuchika Okada is easily one of AEW's biggest acquisitions of the year. At a time when conversations are developing on social media regarding the nature and value of several All Elite Wrestling talent contracts, a long-time star of the promotion has claimed that he seemingly earns the same kind of money as The Rainmaker.

Evil Uno has been a part of the Jacksonville-based company since its year of foundation. As a member of The Dark Order, he gained popularity among fans for his entertaining character-work and in-ring performances. The Canadian wrestler was also a prominent part of Hangman Adam Page's journey to the AEW World Championship. Unfortunately, The Cowboy has seemingly traded friendship for singular-minded vengeance, as was evident from him laying out Uno with a steel chair on Dynamite in Cardiff, Wales, after the latter revealed himself as a co-participant in the Casino Gauntlet Match at AEW All In 2024.

The Tony Khan-led promotion has been a topic of discourse recently after it was reported that All Elite Wrestling had signed Swerve Strickland to a massive new multi-year deal that will see it retain his services for at least four more years. The contract, the report claimed, is similar in pay range to those of TBS Champion Mercedes Mone and Continental Champion Kazuchika Okada.

Amid the ongoing debate surrounding the nature of Swerve's new agreement with AEW and regarding the compensations the promotion reportedly provides to its talent, Evil Uno took to X/Twitter to share a witty post in which he claimed that his income was comparable to that of Okada's. Whether the statement reflects the 37-year-old star's actual earnings in any way cannot be confirmed.

"Yes, Evil Uno is also making Okada levels of money," tweeted Uno.

Kazuchika Okada appeared this week on AEW Dynamite

The August 28, 2024, episode of Dynamite featured a segment which saw Mercedes Mone throwing a backstage party to celebrate her TBS Title retention against Britt Baker at All In last Sunday. The CEO's gathering would be crashed, however, by none other than Private Party, with Isiah Kassidy complimenting Mone's dress and attempting to make a pass at the latter.

However, Brother Zay would promptly be pushed back by The Boss' ally, Kamille. Shortly afterwards, Continental Champion Kazuchika Okada joined the segment, teaching Mone how to fire a scathing parting shot at Private Party in Japanese, leading to the up-and-coming tag team making their exit as Mercedes continued her celebration.

Okada was last seen in action in the Casino Gauntlet Match at All In 2024. It remains to be seen what lies next for the former IWGP Heavyweight Champion.
