AEW star Daniel Garcia is one of the fastest-rising stars in the wrestling industry. His in-ring skills have been highly acclaimed by fans and critics. However, there is speculation over his future with AEW, as his contract with the company will reportedly expire later this year and he may not be re-signing.

The Dragon Slayer was written off programming by MJF at the Beach Break edition of Dynamite. He wasn't seen in the Jacksonville-based promotion until All In London where he cost Maxwell his American Championship. During his absence, many reports emerged saying that Garcia is conflicted regarding his future as both AEW and WWE are viable options.

Despite returning to AEW, Daniel Garcia has yet to re-sign with the promotion. He challenged MJF to a match at All Out. After going back and forth in a competitive bout, the former American Champion picked up the victory. Later, the star attacked MJF and wrote him off TV.

With Garcia yet to extend his deal with the promotion, it seems like AEW might have already spoiled Daniel Garcia's status as he has been booked for future dates. His current deal expires in October and the company has promoted him for October, November, and December dates, meaning there is a possibility that he may have already signed with AEW.

The Dragon Slayer is slated to feature on the October 26 and November 2 editions of Collision. He is also advertised for the November 27 edition of Dynamite.

Daniel Garcia refuses to break silence on his contract status

The Dragon Slayer has been portrayed as a top star in the Jacksonville-based promotion. Many fans were seemingly distraught at the possibility of the star leaving the promotion for WWE.

While speaking in an interview with Denise Salcedo, Garcia was asked about his future plans. He then refrained from commenting on the contract details and his future decisions.

"No, thank you," he said.

It remains to be seen whether he will decide to extend his deal with the Tony Khan-based promotion.
