AEW Rampage had a blockbuster show this Friday, with huge matches. In its early moments, the show went head-to-head with SmackDown.

Rampage featured five matches last week. The show was taped earlier on Wednesday from Rupp Arena, Lexington. As the blue brand has moved back to USA Network, the show had an overrun of a few minutes on its season premiere. The overrun featured Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns teaming up against The Bloodline.

On Rampage, the trios bout saw The Conglomeration defeat the Dark Order. Later, Kamille beat Robyn Renegade in a squash match. Also, Roderick Strong's win on Rampage took him one step closer to HOOK's FTW Championship. Saraya and Harley Cameron won the tag team match, and Jamie Hayter ambushed Harley later. In the night's main event, Konosuke Takeshita defeated Action Andretti in a fun contest.

AEW Rampage drew a total of 250,000 viewers and was rated 0.07 among the 18-49 demographics. While the viewership count is overall low, the numbers have slightly increased for the last two episodes of Rampage.

Last week, the show drew 233,000 viewers but had more ratings than this week, as it was rated 0.08 among the standard demographics.

It will be interesting to see if AEW Grand Slam: Rampage, which is just several days away, increases viewership and ratings.
