AEW announced the singles return of a popular star for Dynamite's 5th Anniversary show this coming Wednesday. He will face off against a certain world champion. This would be Juice Robinson taking on Hangman Adam Page.

Last night on Collision, Hangman faced Jeff Jarrett in a Lumberjack Strap match. In this match, the lumberjacks hold straps, and they can whip a competitor if they go out of the ring. At a point in the match, Page began to attack some of the lumberjacks, including Juice and The Bang Bang Gang.

They retaliated, thus beginning the animosity between Hangman and Robinson. The former took the win against Jarrett and blindsided Juice Robinson post-match, as he claimed that he should never have gotten involved in his business. A bout between the two has been booked, with the seven-time champion looking for retribution against former AEW World Champion Adam Page.

This will be Juice Robinson's first singles match since October last year when he faced MJF for the Dynamite Diamond Ring. Hangman will surely face a major challenge as Juice has amassed several major titles around the world in FCW, TNA, and NJPW.

Swerve Strickland says Hangman Adam Page could become the AEW World Champion soon

Before feuding with Jeff Jarrett and Juice Robinson, Hangman had a high-intensity feud with Swerve Strickland, and the fourth installment of their feud came to a close with Page coming on top.

During his appearance on The Breakfast Club, Strickland admitted that with Hangman on the warpath, he could eventually become the AEW World Champion. By then, he believed that they could cross paths again, as he would attempt to reclaim his title when he returns to action.

"That's a good question. Maybe one day, it might be one in the same because Hangman is on a streak right now, he’s on a warpath. In a lot of ways, him pressing me has made him better. I brought out something great in him that, eventually, with my absence, he'll probably be a World Champion again. Maybe at that time I’ll get both: my get-back, and the World Championship. But that’s the effect of what Swerve brings to this roster of All Elite Wrestling... I make your guy better, and in turn, he makes me better," Swerve Strickland said. [From 22:23 to 22:59]

Despite already besting Swerve Strickland, Hangman does not seem satisfied, and he may just go after anyone who stands in his way of reaching the top of the roster once more.
