A 6'2" AEW star believes that he and Kazuchika Okada will definitely cross paths in AEW down the line. The star who made this statement was Konosuke Takeshita.

Both Okada and Takeshita hail from Japan and have created a name for themselves in the pro wrestling industry. Okada is a veteran of the industry and won multiple world titles in NJPW before moving to AEW. Takeshita, meanwhile, has been one of the budding stars in the promotion and is destined for big things according to fans and critics alike.

Speaking in an interview with Tokyo Sports, Konosuke Takeshita stated he is bound to face Kazuchika Okada in a dream match as they are in the same promotion now. He added the dream match will take place soon. He also claimed that the bout will be a big draw around the world when it happens.

“I think it's destiny. Even before I came to the US, people had been saying that Takeshita vs Okada was a dream match. While we've walked completely different paths, we're now in the same organization [AEW]. When the time is right, Okada vs Takeshita will happen, and I'd like to make it a match that will attract more attention than it does now and reach wrestling fans around the world.” [H/T Tokyo Sports]

Former WWE star believes that Kazuchika Okada will undergo character change soon

Kazuchika Okada became All Elite earlier this year. When he arrived in the promotion, he turned heel and joined The Elite. The Continental Champion has been with them ever since.

Last month, former WWE star Aiden English was on the REBOOKED Wrestling Podcast. In the interview, he stated he thinks The Rainmaker would turn babyface shortly (in six months or a year) and attack Matthew Jackson and Nicholas Jackson.

"Think about the pop when cha-ching happens and he rain makes Matt and Nick or something, you know. Six months down the line and next year whatever it is and he throws his arms our and the camera zooms in and out at the same time or whatever the hell that shot is you know what I mean and just start like rain making The Elite. That huge babyface turn or so you know what's going to come around and it's going to be a really cool moment."

He also added that when it happens, it will be an exceptional moment and the segment will receive a gigantic pop from the crowd.
