5ft 7in star seemingly hints at secret signing with Tony Khan's AEW

A top star recently hinted at possibly signing with Tony Khan's AEW. The 5ft 7in wrestler being discussed is Jack Cartwheel.

Jack has been one of the biggest stars on the independent scene and has won multiple championships worldwide. He has wrestled in promotions like GCW, ROH, AAA, NWA, MLA, and many other companies since he started wrestling in 2019.

The Rocketwheel made his debut in the Jacksonville-based promotion in March 2023 against Konosuke Takeshita. He has wrestled a total of five matches in the company, out of which only two were televised. His most recent appearance came on the May 16, 2024, edition of Collision, where he lost to Nick Wayne.

Recently, Jack Cartwheel took to X/Twitter and posted a picture of himself alongside an AEW logo, teasing his arrival in the promotion.

Tony Khan believes Christian Cage is the MVP of AEW TV

Christian Cage has been a top star in the company since his debut and currently leads Patriarchy. He held the TNT Championship for more than 200 days in combined reign.

Speaking on the Double or Nothing media call, Tony Khan applauded the Patriarch's contribution to the company. He also calls him the 'MVP of AEW television'.

"Christian Cage, who has been, in my opinion, an MVP of AEW television over the past year. What Christian Cage has done for the company is unbelievable. I absolutely believed that was what we were gonna get when we signed him, and I think it’s been proven right. I think Christian Cage is one of the best signings we’ve ever made in AEW. All the hype around his signing was very justified because he’s one of the greatest wrestlers in the world, and he’s done the best work of his career in AEW.”

It will be interesting to see whether Jack Cartwheel will make it big if he has indeed signed with AEW.
