Shawn Spears reinvented himself on the independent circuit and turned many heads when he joined AEW. He started his AEW career with a bang by hitting Cody Rhodes with a vicious chair shot thereby busting him open.

Over the years, Spears would go on to be involved in several storylines but he often found himself on the losing end of his matches. After spending several years with the company, Spears returned to WWE and has been competing on NXT ever since.

A fan recently asked Shawn Spears on social media about his favorite moments in AEW. The Chairman replied that he was "fortunate" to be a part of Tony Khan's promotion:

"Plenty. I was fortunate enough to be put in situations that allowed for growth as an individual and more importantly, as a performer. All information, good bad or indifferent, that I can pass along to future generations."
