Since the inception of AEW in 2019, several prominent former WWE stars have joined forces with the Jacksonville-based promotion. This includes Adam Copeland (Edge), Bryan Danielson, Jon Moxley, Chris Jericho, and more. Interestingly, another former WWE Superstar could join Tony Khan's company in the future.

Shane McMahon and Tony Khan had a private meeting at Arlington Airport on July 29, 2024. Later, a picture from their meeting went viral on social media, which led to speculations about The Prodigal Son possibly becoming All Elite in the coming weeks. If the former WWE Hardcore Champion signs a deal with Tony Khan, he could debut as a heel and take over the Blackpool Combat Club at the upcoming All In 2024 PPV.

The Blackpool Combat Club (BCC) was founded by the trio of Bryan Danielson, Jon Moxley, and William Regal (manager) in March 2022. Eventually, Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta joined this stable. However, Regal departed the company in December 2022, leaving the group without a manager.

Shane McMahon could be the perfect replacement for Regal because, just like the Englishman, The Prodigal Son has years of experience in the wrestling business. He could take BCC to new heights and also make them the most dominant stable in the company.

Meanwhile, Tony Khan recently opened up on his meeting with Shane on the Sedano & Kap show. The AEW honcho stated that he had a ''really nice visit with'' the former SmackDown Tag Team Champion.

"As I understand, he's [Shane McMahon] not doing anything with WWE, and I had a really nice visit with him. I had heard from a lot of people that he was interested in talking, and it had become, frankly, a big media story to the point where I was getting asked on the record questions about it. I had never met him in advance of my first conversation with him. There was a lot of buzz about this, so I thought it would certainly be worth talking," he said [H/T: Wrestling Inc.]

Booker T is not surprised that Shane McMahon met with AEW founder Tony Khan

During a recent episode of the Hall of Fame podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Booker T opened up on the recent meeting between AEW CEO Tony Khan and Shane McMahon.

The NXT commentator shrugged off the development, as he claimed that nothing in this business surprised him anymore.

"Nothing surprises me in this business; it really doesn’t,'' he said.
