The new Bloodline just added gold to their arsenal and it took place on WWE SmackDown tonight. Tama Tonga and Jacob Fatu defeated DIY to become the WWE Tag Team Champions and Solo Sikoa seems to be on a power trip if he wasn't on one already.

This will further give him the power to impose his will in the company, and in Roman’s absence, this could spell bad news for the rest of the roster. All this is now set up for two former WWE champions to return and confront The Bloodline at WWE SummerSlam.

The Hardy Boyz could confront The Bloodline

Matt and Jeff Hardy could be returning to their first company after reports emerged earlier today that they had met some officials. They could have discussed plans on how to make their comeback and The Bloodline winning the tag team titles makes things all the more interesting.

With SummerSlam taking place tomorrow, Triple H needs to bring the two former AEW stars back to the company and have them confront the new tag team champions. It will be a sight to behold for the WWE Universe.

Matt and Jeff Hardy have done this before

The two brothers have the experience of showing up on a major show at the last minute and taking it by storm. This took place as recently as WrestleMania 33, where they showed up at the last minute as surprise entrants in a tag title bout and ended up winning the tag team titles.

WWE SummerSlam represents yet another opportunity for them to make their comeback and given that this is the biggest show of the summer, it will be great to see them there.

One final run before WWE HOF induction

That Matt and Jeff Hardy are iconic wrestlers will brook no arguments from even their worst critics. Despite all the troubles the latter has seemingly faced in his career, there should be no qualms as to how big of a star he is.

Having them come back to WWE to have one final run before making their retirement and eventual entry into the Hall of Fame will be the ideal ending to their iconic careers. This will even give the two stars the perfect book-end to their careers - end their careers at the same place they started - WWE.
