Welcome to this week's edition of Dynamite Preview. AEW's marquee event, Double or Nothing, is just around the corner. But before that, we have a special go home edition of Dynamite before the pay-per-view this Friday.

Last week, the company unveiled the entire match card for Double or Nothing. The storyline build-up to the pay-per-view has been quite impressive, with a lot at stake.

Several exciting segments and matches have already been announced ahead of tonight's show. Let's get into what to expect in this week's episode of AEW Dynamite.

#5 AEW to honor Hikaru Shida's one year anniversary as Women's Champion

Japanese female superstar Hikaru Shida has achieved the biggest milestone of her career. She has not only become the longest reigning AEW Women's World champion, but also the longest reigning champion in the company's history, with a title reign of more than 365 days.

During tonight's show, AEW will hold a celebratory segment to honor Hikaru Shida's one-year anniversary as the Women's Champion. There's no denying that she has absolutely carried the Women's division on her back for over a year. And she certainly deserves a celebration after achieving such a feat.

However, it remains to be seen if a segment like this will go smoothly. There's a high chance that her Double or Nothing opponent Dr. Britt Baker might be planning to ruin The Champion's special night.

The build-up to Hikaru Shida and Britt Baker's bout at Double or Nothing has been really good on AEW Dynamite. There's no denying that both women will put on a great match on May 30th.

The match for the AEW Women's World Championship is one of the most anticipated bouts on the card. With one more episode left, AEW could build up to the match further.

Having Britt Baker spoil Hikaru Shida's celebratory segment tonight could potentially add more heat towards her. Both women can even exchange a war of words and then get involved in a brawl.

A segment like this will help develop people's interest even more in the upcoming Women's Championship match at Double or Nothing this Sunday.

Dr. Britt Baker has tremendously ascended to the top of the women's division in no time. It remains to be seen if she will be able to capture her first AEW women's title this Sunday. Considering her recent work, AEW may pull the trigger on her on May 30th.

#4 Darby Allin takes on Cezar Bononi on AEW Dynamite

This will be Darby Allin's first match back since losing his TNT title to Miro a few weeks ago on AEW Dynamite. A win over Cezar Bononi tonight would give Darby much-needed momentum ahead of Double or Nothing.

AEW star Cezar Bononi hasn't featured much on Dynamite programming since signing with AEW in 2020. This will be a great opportunity for him to make a name for himself if he manages to pull off a shocking victory over Darby Allin with his strength.

Given the looming threat of Scorpio Sky and Ethan Page, the outcome of the match may not go in Darby's favor, with the bout most likely ending in disqualification.

Last week on AEW Dynamite, Sting and Darby Allin finally put their hands on the duo of Ethan Page and Scorpio Sky. The attack was merely a message that Sting and Allin will come out with all guns blazing on May 30th.

It remains to be seen if Ethan Page and Scorpio Sky will get the upper hand on Dynamite ahead of the huge clash at Double or Nothing this Sunday.

#3 Miro looks to have a successful title defense on AEW Dynamite

Tonight on AEW Dynamite, Miro will have his first ever TNT title defense against a 20-year old Dante Martin.

A title change is completely out of the question at this point. Miro's run to the top has just begun and tonight's match will most likely elevate Miro's dominance in the ring.

As unfortunate as it seems for the young Dante Martin, Miro will absolutely crush him in a quick match on AEW Dynamite. Having an outcome like this will shape Miro's character as a strong villainous heel ahead of his mammoth clash against Lance Archer this Sunday.

There's a possibility that Lance Archer may come out after Miro's match and have a deep staredown with him. The two may even engage in a war of words again.

AEW has done a great job thus far by not having these two monsters lay hands on each other during their build-up. Fans will have to wait until Sunday to see Miro and Lance Archer clash with the TNT title on the line.

The match between the two behemoths is the one of the most intriguing matches on the Double or Nothing card.

#4 Eric Bischoff returns to host Inner Circle's celebration on AEW Dynamite

AEW star Chris Jericho earlier appeared on Busted Open Radio, where he revealed that Eric Bischoff will make his return to AEW Dynamite to host the Inner Circle's celebration.

The Inner Circle and The Pinnacle will finally culminate their feud in a Stadium Stampede match this Sunday. There's an added stipulation in the match that the Inner Circle will have to break-up forever if they lose on May 30th.

Tonight could be the last time the Inner Circle may celebrate as a unit. The segment will most likely be based on the Inner Circle's greatest moments together. Having Eric Bischoff as the host will elevate the segment to another level.

However, the celebration is most likely to be interrupted by the Pinnacle. Another heated back and forth is on the cards this Friday, with potentially The Pinnacle gaining an upper hand heading into the pay-per-view.

The match between the Inner Circle and the Pinnacle is the most anticipated bout heading into Double or Nothing. It remains to be seen if the Chris Jericho-led stable will be able to overcome the biggest challenge of their career on May 30th.

#5 Will Orange Cassidy defer his AEW world title shot?

Tonight on AEW Dynamite, Orange Cassidy will finally make his decision on Kenny Omega's proposal to defer his AEW world title shot at Double or Nothing.

A few weeks ago, Orange Cassidy awkwardly landed on his neck after receiving a 'Liger Bomb' from PAC during their no.1 contender match on AEW Dynamite.

Since then Kenny Omega has been hell bent on convincing Orange Cassidy to give up his right to compete at Double or Nothing. In return, The Cleaner has promised him that he will get a future AEW world title shot.

It is worth noting that neither AEW nor Orange Cassidy himself have provided any updates on the injury. This means that Freshly Squeezed is currently good to go at Double or Nothing.

Tonight, Orange Cassidy is likely to make his intentions clear that he is coming after Kenny Omega's AEW World title at Double or Nothing.

However, his decision may not sit well with Kenny Omega and he may even confront Cassidy on Dynamite. Surprisingly, PAC seems nowhere to be involved in the AEW title picture. But he could show up tonight to hype his match.

Kenny Omega will defend his AEW World Title against PAC and Orange Cassidy in a triple-threat match at Double or Nothing. The match has all the potential to be the match of the night.
