Bryan Danielson lost the AEW World Championship at the WrestleDream pay-per-view to Jon Moxley. After losing the title, he was brutally attacked by his opponent and the members of the latter's stable, PAC, Claudio Castagnoli, and Marina Shafir. Shawn Michaels and Bryan Danielson have a very close relationship. As a young boy, The American Dragon trained in HBK's wrestling school. They almost locked horns inside the squared circle in 2013-14.
