AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam 2024 is around the corner and Tony Khan will undoubtedly be a busy man while presenting the show to fans. He has overseen some great shows over the last month. He presented the All In 2024 Pay-Per-View at Wembley Stadium in London, United Kingdom, and then he followed it up with the All Out 2024 Pay-Per-View in Chicago, Illinois.

Those two shows were great and had a lot of talking points and fans were buzzing about how Tony Khan had everything on point. Given their success, there will be a natural expectation for the upcoming Dynamite: Grand Slam show to be decent as well.

In this article, we will take a look at three mistakes Tony Khan should avoid making at AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam 2024.

#3. Anna Jay should return

Anna Jay has been away from the Jacksonville-based company for a few months. She has been wrestling in Japan and she has notably been having a great time over there. Her return was teased on Collision and the time is right for her to make her comeback.

Given that Mariah May and Mercedes Mone, formerly known as Sasha Banks, need credible challengers for the AEW Women's World Championship and the TBS Championship, respectively, a return for Anna Jay at the show would be perfect and Tony Khan should ensure that he does not make the mistake of not having her on the show.

#2. Jon Moxley should not lose

This one would definitely be tough. Jon Moxley, formerly known as Dean Ambrose, will be taking on Darby Allin for the latter's AEW World Championship opportunity. While it may seem harsh for Allin to lose and thereby give up his spot, it is for the greater good.

Bryan Danielson, formerly known as Daniel Bryan, does not have a lot of time left to compete in the ring as he has opened up about his desire to call it quits soon time and time again. A match with Jon Moxley while he is at the top of the Jacksonville-based promotion should be at the top of the agenda for him and Tony Khan must ensure that the two men face each other soon.

#1. Tony Khan must resist the urge to bring in Shane McMahon

Shane McMahon is the name on everybody's lips these days. Ever since his photo with Tony Khan went viral, there have been numerous rumors that it is only a matter of time before the 54-year-old shows up in AEW.

Dynamite: Grand Slam 2024, however, is not the right time to bring in the former WWE Hardcore Champion. His stature warrants a bigger event and venue, and Tony Khan must resist the urge to bring him in so soon. It is not the right time yet. The 41-year-old needs to be very careful about his decision to bring Shane to the Jacksonville-based promotion as it could potentially be a key factor in bringing up the numbers for the company.
