Now that The Young and the Restless' Danny and Christine have had their dream wedding, we have to wonder, who will be the next bride to walk down the aisle? There is one Y&R lady who is often overlooked, when she probably deserves a loving husband more than any other lady in the entire show. That lady is Traci.

While most of The Young and the Restless ladies have cheated, stolen, killed, or committed other underhanded acts at one time or another, Traci (Beth Maitland) has not done those things. She isn't a liar, manipulator, conniver, or anything of the sort. She always treats people with kindness, is never judgmental, and always gives wrongdoers a second chance.
Y&R fans thought Traci had finally gotten a good love story when she became involved with Alan Laurent (Christopher Cousins). Unfortunately, Traci and her fans got the rug pulled out from under their feet when it was discovered that Alan's evil twin brother, Martin, was pretending to be Alan all along. It wasn't fair to Traci for so many reasons. She rarely ever gets a love story to begin with, and when she finally got one, she'd been tricked by her sweetheart the whole time. So, it didn't even qualify as a real romance.
What gives? Traci deserves so much better than this. So many of the other Y&R females get to enjoy real romances and marriages all the time. Why not Traci, too? She is the peacemaker of the Abbott family. She welcomed Diane into the family when Billy (Jason Thompson) and Ashley (Eileen Davidson) were suspicious of Diane's motives. Traci is a good-hearted, forgiving soul who the other Genoa City folks could take a lesson from. Surely there must be a great man for her out there!
Traci doesn't let her recent heartbreak stop her from having fun
Traci is writing a novel about her experiences with Laurent, which, in a way, is a form of therapy for her. And even though she is still hurting, she doesn't let her disappointment and heartache stop her from enjoying life. The words from a famous song seem to be her motto: "Smile when your heart is breaking."
But even though she is still nursing a broken heart over everything Martin did to her, she wasn't jealous in the least to see Christine (Lauralee Bell) and Danny (Michael Damian) in wedded bliss. Traci revels in seeing others happy and in love, even when she herself isn't. She rejoices in the happiness of others. She is always upbeat and knows how to have a good time.
Traci deserves to find the kind of love that Michael and Lauren have found
Traci deserves the kind of enduring love that Michael (Christian LeBlanc) and Lauren (Tracey Bregman) share on The Young and the Restless. Michael and Lauren's twentieth wedding anniversary is in December, so it's just around the corner!
Lauren may get frustrated over Michael's unwavering allegiance to Victor (Eric Braeden), but at least she knows he isn't chasing after other women. He loves her, and only her, and that is what we want for Traci -- a man who is fully committed to her, someone she can share life's joys and hardships with. Let's hope a very special man comes into her life soon and sets her heart on fire, someone who appreciates her as much as she appreciates him. Traci deserves it.
