This week on The Young and the Restless, Claire questioned Victor’s hatred toward Jack. Victor warned Claire to steer clear of the Abbott family to avoid being caught in the crossfire. Nikki refused to back down from her threat to leave Victor if he didn’t end his war with Jack. Nikki and Victor set their differences aside for the holidays and exchanged heartfelt gifts. Kyle contemplated whether to give Claire her Christmas gift or make a clean break. Kyle admired the positive changes Billy had made in his life. Kyle and Claire discussed her determination to remain neutral in the feud between their families, but he abruptly took off when Holden arrived to meet Claire. Claire chased after Kyle, who made it clear he was moving on as Audra eavesdropped. Audra taunted Claire for bouncing from one man to the other, and Claire responded by throwing a drink in Audra’s face. Traci encouraged Lily to forgive Cane. Phyllis proposed that she and Cane team up to steal back the AI software and take over Newman Enterprises. Phyllis planted a kiss on Cane as an unseen Lily walked in. Traci recognized Diane’s steadfast support of the Abbotts with a hug. Jack and Billy debated whether they could trust Phyllis or Nikki. Noah awakened after Annie had knocked him out, and he found that Sienna was gone. Nick suggested that he and Matt make a deal. Michael and Lauren considered the repercussions if he betrayed Victor to help the Abbotts. Billy and Sally invited Victoria, Johnny, and Katie over to trim a scraggly Christmas tree. Billy realized he’d forgotten the ornaments, but Sally led the group through making homemade decorations that reminded her of her carny days. Billy overheard Sally confiding in Victoria about her absentee father and needing what she had with Billy to be real. Sally blasted Adam for ruining Abbott Communications’ launch by doing Victor’s bidding. Sally insinuated that her company could attack the Newmans the same way the Newmans had targeted the Abbotts. Chelsea threatened to leave Newman Media if Adam continued to follow Victor’s orders.
