The Young and the Restless' Daily YAPP Recap, November 6: Nick's banter with Noah needs to be bottled and sold

Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon (Sharon Case) have been to the brink and back, sick with worry over Noah's (Lucas Adams) condition following his car accident. The show opted to keep Noah all bandaged up. They weren't leading up to a plastic surgery story per se, but we all knew that a new actor (Adams) was taking over the role. Why not make his first appearance full of fanfare? There was a lot of dialogue exchanged between Noah and his dad (with mom acting as referee). The banter between Nick and Noah was enjoyable. Nick (and Morrow) has an easy-going charm. He poked fun at his son about what his face would look like when the bandages came off. In turn, Noah made a playful dig at his dad's sense of humor. The familial cadence between the two men came off as if they'd been buddies and co-stars for years. In reality, Adams is the latest addition to Genoa City. Noah's bandages came off today, and viewers were fully introduced to the latest star on The Young and the Restless to play Nick and Sharon's firstborn. Once Nick and Sharon got a glimpse of their handsome son, the banter that was used as an emotional mechanism could be retired. The family had nothing but smiles on their faces as this nuclear Newman clan had something to be happy about for once. There's time to chase after Matt Clark in the future. Today, Nick, Sharon, and Noah shared some overdue joy.
