On The Young and the Restless, after days…weeks?...feels like months…the business mogul elite from Genoa City are finally heading out to go meet Aristotle Dumas in Nice, France. And while we couldn’t be more excited to have another week go by without a big reveal, some people are starting to feel some apprehension about the trip. Is it just to add a flair of last-minute drama? Or are these comments being made actually foreboding? Damian and Amy had yet another heart-to-heart over breakfast, which, at the time, I thought was unnecessary, but she later told Nate that when she hugged her son goodbye, Amy got a chill up her spine. Say what?? Is Damian in some sort of danger? Or has he been Aristotle all along and been lying to them all? Meanwhile, Phyllis ominously warned Christine not to get too comfy as she would be back. Daniel then commented that he thought the trip and meeting Aristotle, could be something that “could turn Phyllis’ life around.” As for Lily, don’t think we didn’t notice when she said that they’ve been talking about Dumas so much, she feels like she already knows him. Same, Lily, same. Oh, and spoiler alert, once at Dumas’ estate, Lily tells someone that she has a weird feeling that things aren’t going to go the way that they think…which might not be much of a stretch, since they had no idea what to expect going in.
