On The Young and the Restless today, it was couples night, but only half of those out and about seemed to be enjoying themselves. Claire was having a great night with her future ex, Holden, as her BFF Tessa was realizing she was enjoying being on a double date with Daniel. But when Nate and Audra walked in, Claire’s demeanor instantly went dark, and it took her all of seconds to decide to flip the script on her nemesis. Claire finally told Nate what was really going on with his girlfriend, gave Audra the hand when she tried to speak, and gave her a shove as she walked through her when she was done. And it was glorious. It’s about damn time Claire stood up for herself and found her voice — and Nate needed to hear it. Not that Kyle and Claire are right for one another, but Nate and Audra were thisclose to convincing me that they were until Audra couldn’t help herself and blew it all up. But while Audra’s Vibrante funding deal is off the table, she has a COO job lined up with Sally, and likely her relationship with Nate is over. As for Kyle and Claire? There’s still Kyle’s contract with Victor to count on...and Holden.
