Welcome to The Young and the Restless Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

Traci was shocked on The Young and the Restless today when Alan waltzed into their GCAC suite, carrying his suitcase and possibly some air quotes to go around his name. Is he Alan? Is he Martin? Traci tried her best to conceal her fear and look as happy as she should have been, but alas, the mind reader knew better. Traci’s fears got the better of her. She put on a good act, but “Alan” knew something was up. Traci immediately asked him for more time before rushing into marriage. Maybe it’s different when it’s your personal feelings involved, but as a therapist, “Alan” should have seen that as a wise request (and probably advised plenty of patients of the same). But although his reaction made sense to a point, and he was very much taken off guard by her request — and he said something telling. Alan asked Traci “what she found out” about him that changed her mind and scared her off from getting married right away. It was an odd statement that could have been phrased otherwise, so even if he’s not his crazed brother, does Alan have something to hide? Meanwhile, Ashley came back for the wedding that’s not happening and didn’t see Alan on the plane or in the GCAC, but it didn’t take much to convince her it was a possibility that her sister is in real danger. Did she foretell Alan/Martin’s fate when she told Jack if it really was Martin, she’d “kill him herself?” It would be horrible for Traci if her fiance wasn’t who she thought. It would be worse if he was Alan, and someone killed him in a case of mistaken identity.
