The Young and the Restless stars Sean Dominic and Valarie Pettiford share a special connection

We suspect that if The Young and the Restless starts to have Amy look upon Nate as a surrogate son following the death of her only child, Damian, that their portrayers will have no problem conveying a close friendship. In real life, the actors speak glowingly about each other!

"Just wanna give this young lady her flowers @valariepettiford," Dominic posted on social media along with a photo of Pettiford and himself at the recent Y&R fan event.

"It’s an honor and pleasure to work with you!" the actor continued. "I couldn’t have asked for a better mother to my half-brother [Damian, Jermaine Rivers]. lol. Thank you for bringing power, elegance, and intelligence to the screen as Amy. All I do is sit back and take notes. Congratulations on your daytime Emmy nomination because I got a feeling… 🤫😬."

"Love you more than life," Pettiford posted on Dominic's account. The actress has admirers on other CBS soap operas. Karla Mosley (Dani, Beyond the Gates) added three heart emojis and "The stunning, the incomparable…!!!"

Pettiford responded: "thank you so much dear one."
