Kyle (Michael Mealor) is not getting his way, and Audra (Zuleyka Silver) is starting to get under his skin. Kyle tries to play it cool and unbothered whenever she’s around but Audra has been relentless at getting Kyle’s attention, and she has him concerned. Kyle knows that a start-up company isn’t usually an immediate threat, but he also knows Audra’s determination, and he worked alongside her before at Glissade when the sole goal was to bring down Jabot. At the time, Kyle hated his parents and blabbed to her all of Jabot’s inner workings and information that would make the company vulnerable. No matter what confidence Kyle has in his family’s company to weather a storm, he has Audra’s attention. But Claire (Hayley Erin) isn’t happy that Kyle has suggested getting close to Audra to find out what she’s up to. Claire intervenes, but will Kyle listen? Or is he going to revert to his sneakier ways to do what he wants at the risk of his relationship with Claire?
Another person in Genoa City who isn’t happy that her partner’s ex is back in their lives is Abby (Melissa Ordway). When Abby finds out that Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) is back in town, she’s immediately on guard. Victor (Eric Braeden) warned Abby that Aristotle Dumas was after Winters, and now Amanda works with Dumas. Can she get some answers out of Amanda that the others couldn’t? And will she believe Amanda anyway?
Victor wants to do something special for Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) for her birthday. He plans a romantic evening for her, but surprises her that he has more planned as well. Of course, anyone who knows Victor shouldn’t be surprised by that — he goes all out when it comes to spoiling his wife, and with her birthday around the corner, he wants to go all out.
