Welcome to The Young and the Restless Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick -- and by that, I mean you're already halfway done -- recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today's episode. Let's get to it:
What happened on The Young and the Restless

How does The Young and the Restless follow up its fabulous Danny (Michael Damian) and Cricket (Lauralee Bell) two-episode wedding extravaganza? Easy. By serving up a dish of an episode with dramas that are both high and low, just in time for Thanksgiving. The action heated up in Los Angeles as Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon (Sharon Case) amped up their search for their missing son, Noah (Lucas Adams). Y&R effectively heightened the drama by showing black and white flashbacks of Nick and Matt (Roger Howarth) going at it. There's an intensity to their scenes, and why shouldn't there be? Once again, the Newmans are in mortal jeopardy. Call us selfish, but we're hoping Noah and Sienna (Tamara Braun) are both rescued in time for Thanksgiving on Thursday. How can we enjoy our turkey dinners if we know that Nick and Sharon are in such turmoil? There was drama on a much smaller scale back in Genoa City when we saw Sally (Courtney Hope) reveal to Billy (Jason Thompson) that she was anxious about being with his family, the Abbotts, on Thanksgiving Day. After all, her experience with the Newmans was less than positive. Sally's apprehension was relatable and quite sweet. It's only natural she'd want to fit in, but how can she not fit in once the Abbotts see how great she is for Billy?
