We can't say with 100% certainty, but we are expecting this wedding to actually happen, and that Danny (Michael Damian) and Cricket (Lauralee Bell) will be proclaimed husband and wife once more. Still, we're also placing bets on Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) causing some kind of commotion! The fiery redhead may have made peace with Sharon (Sharon Case), but she's always going to be irked by Cricket. Phyllis may not still be in love with Danny, but she doesn't want Cricket to have him either!
Familiar faces
It's already been reported that Tricia Cast, who plays Cricket's bestie Nina Webster, is coming back from the wedding. Ditto, Patty Weaver, who plays Gina Roma, Danny's sister. Cast and Weaver are two powerhouse actresses, and while they're both on board with a Danny and Cricket reunion, we imagine, we are hoping that they get to sink their teeth into something big!
The ex-husband's club
If Phyllis truly wanted to ruin Christine and Danny's big day, she'd hop a plane to Portagul, Spain, where Paul (Doug Davidson) was last known to be living and lie like a rug. She could try to trick Paul into thinking that Chris (AKA Cricket) is still in love with him. Imagine the officiator at the wedding asking if anyone objects to Cricket and Danny's union, and Paul walks into the back of the church and says, "I object!" Or maybe, just maybe, Chris and Paul's last divorce was never finalized?
We don't see this happening as it hasn't been teased up until this point, but remember when half (approximately) of the planned soap opera weddings didn't happen because of ex and/or back-from-the-dead spouses making surprise appearances?
The bride wore white
Y&R utilized social media recently to ask the show's viewers to weigh in on which gown Cricket would wear. First, viewers saw choices that didn't even make the top three. Then, viewers narrowed it down to two. Which of the two finalists will the bride wear? Or will she find a way to showcase all three gowns as Lauren (Tracey Bregman) hinted she might?
