Hayley Erin is returning to The Young and the Restless -- but it will be in a totally new role.
Hayley Erin is making a return trip to Genoa City. The Emmy-winning actress will pop up this fall in a newly created role.
Erin previously appeared on The Young and the Restless from 2008 to 2010 as Abby Newman. That role, of course, is currently being played by Melissa Ordway.
Erin is also known to daytime viewers as General Hospital's Kiki Jerome. The actress appeared on the ABC soap from 2015 to 2019. Her work on GH earned her a 2019 Daytime Emmy Award in the Outstanding Younger Actress category. Erin has the distinction of being the very last winner in that category. The following year, it was combined with the Outstanding Younger Actor category in the gender-neutral Outstanding Younger Performer category.

After leaving General Hospital, Erin was a series regular on Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists. She also appeared in the indie film New Life.
As for the new Y&R role, Soap Opera Digest reports that Erin will play Claire Grace, an employee at Newman Media. A first airdate has not yet been made available.
