Kate Linder's OpportuniTea event is back -- and being held in person!

Kate Linder's OpportuniTea event will take place in June and mark a return to an in-person event for the first time in four years.

For the first time since 2019, Kate Linder's (Esther Valentine) high tea charity event benefiting March of Dimes Canada will be held as an in-person event. The event will be co-hosted by Christian LeBlanc (Michael Baldwin) and will feature a Q&A, an autograph session, silent auctions, and, of course, a host of soap stars.

In addition to Linder and LeBlanc, fans can also expect to see Cait Fairbanks (Tessa Porter), Camryn Grimes (Mariah Copeland), Bryton James (Devon Hamilton), and Brytni Sarpy (Elena Dawson).

Kate Linder & Friends OpportuniTea benefits March of Dimes Canada, with funds raised helping to ensure that children and youth living with disabilities can achieve their full potential through programs like Conductive Education. Kate Linder has been March of Dimes Canadas Ambassador of Conductive Education since 2012.

The event will be held June 4, 2023, in a new venue: the Beanfield Centre, located at 105 Princes Boulevard in Toronto. Costs range from $125 for regular seating to $275, which includes a meet and greet with the cast prior to the event.

Linder's tea had been scheduled for December 2022, but it was postponed out of an abundance of caution due to an increase in COVID and influenza cases.

There will be health and safety protocols in place, including a mask requirement when attendees are not seated at a table. Also, attendees will not be permitted to hug or kiss the cast. Additional guidelines are listed on the event's web site.
