All you need is love! In its continuation of themed throwback weeks, The Young and the Restless will be dedicating the week of May 4 to Eric Braeden and Melody Thomas Scott with "Victor and Nikki: A Lifetime of Love."
The romance between The Young and the Restless' Nikki and Victor -- or "Niktor," as soap opera fans affectionately call the iconic pair -- is one for the books, and the CBS soap opera is dedicating a full weeks' worth of episodes to the couple's epic love story.
The week kicks off on Monday, May 4, with an episode that originally aired in October of 1981. Nikki Reed (Melody Thomas Scott) visits Newman Ranch for the first time as Victor (Eric Braeden) tests their chemistry with a little help from Colonel Douglas Austin (Michael Evans).
On Tuesday, May 5, the soap will air an episode from August of 1987 that features Nikki dreaming of reuniting with Victor after Ashley (Eileen Davidson) is out of the picture. Meanwhile, Phillip (Thom Bierdz) makes plans for a future with Cricket (Lauralee Bell).

Wednesday, May 6, will feature an episode that originally aired in June of 1990 that shows Nikki taking center stage at the Colonnade Room while Drucilla (Victoria Rowell) finds herself in trouble, and Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) distracts Scott (Peter Barton) from Lauren (Tracey Bregman).
Victor and Nikki won't be able to deny their attraction on Thursday, May 7, when an episode from April 1998 airs. The hour will also include Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon's (Sharon Case) marriage being tested, and Katherine (Jeanne Cooper) interfering in Jill's (Jess Walton) relationship with Keith Dennison (Granville Van Dusen).
Finally, on Friday, May 8, an episode that originally aired in September of 2002 will show Victor and Nikki's marriage at the iconic Colonnade Room while Ashley (Davidson) struggles with a secret.
As Soap Central previously reported, both The Young and the Restless and The Bold and the Beautiful have already aired the last of their new, pre-COVID-19-filmed episodes. In order to help fill the gap until production can resume, the CBS series will be airing theme weeks that are filled to the brim with long-lost cherished characters, epic adventures, and classic moments.
Y&R's first theme week kicked off on Monday, April 27, and was dedicated to iconic Genoa City matriarch Katherine Chancellor (played by the late Jeanne Cooper). The Bold and the Beautiful dedicated its first theme week to five episodes shot on location in Monte Carlo. And speaking of B&B, it has announced the focus of its second theme week, set to kick off on Monday, April 4: it's all things weddings! To read more about it, click here.
