Actress Rachel Kimsey (ex-Mackenzie Browning, The Young and the Restless; ex-Meredith Hudson, Days of our Lives) is the proud new mom of a baby girl who is already showing off her "fiery spirit. "
Congratulations are in order for daytime alum Rachel Kimsey (ex-Mackenzie Browning, The Young and the Restless; ex-Meredith Hudson, Days of our Lives), who, together with her husband, Matthew Waterson, just welcomed a daughter into the world.
The actress shared the exciting baby news on Instagram over the weekend with photos and the message, "This little stunner is here and taking her corner of the world by storm. We are buried in the exhausting first days but Sutton is already showing us her personality and her fiery spirit. She's going to be a force to be reckoned with and we couldn't love her more."
As fans may recall, Kimsey first shared the news about her pregnancy in August by posting a humorous message on Instagram. You can read more about that here. Kimsey's new bundle of joy joins her big brother, Everly Rian, who was born in March of 2018.

Kimsey is one of several actresses who have played Y&R's Mackenzie. Her version of the character aired from March 2005 to May 2006. Her other soap opera credit is the role of Days of our Lives' Meredith, which she played in 2009.
After leaving the daytime world, Kimsey began several new ventures, including voice acting, teaching, and coaching. The profile on her official website states that she can most often be found "behind a microphone or on a set, doing VoiceOver for Cartoons, Video Games, TV and Radio or making Film and Television. If I'm not there, look for me at the BGB Studio where I teach acting and coach auditions."
But no matter where you find her, she says, "chances are I'll have a smile on my face and a plan for a new adventure."
