Get ready to see a lot more of The Young and the Restless' Hartley Sawyer (ex-Kyle Abbott) on The Flash, because he has been upped to full-time status on the CW series.
Season five of the CW series The Flash won't be airing for several months, but it's already looking good because The Young and the Restless' Hartley Sawyer (ex-Kyle Abbott) will be playing a muuuuuuuch larger role than he has in the past.
The actor, who originally joined the show as private eye Ralph Dibny in a recurring capacity last summer, has been upped to series regular for the upcoming installment of the superhero drama, TV Line reports.
Dibny, as fans of the DC Comic series know, is also known as the Elongated Man, as he has the ability to stretch his body to any shape and form.

The Flash is set to air Tuesdays at 8/7C this fall, where it once again leads into Black Lightning. No exact premiere date has been announced at this time.
After leaving Y&R in 2014, Sawyer went on to appear in projects like Caper, Laura, Miss 2059, and Saving the Human Race: Webisodes.
