A nasty bicycle accident left former The Young and the Restless actor Michael Muhney (ex-Adam Newman) with some pretty serious injuries.
Popular The Young and the Restless alum Michael Muhney (ex-Adam Newman) had a rough weekend after a bicycle accident left him wounded.
The actor was participating in a Southern California bike race on Saturday, April 9, when a high-speed wipeout left him battered and bruised.
"Suffered a concussion," he tweeted along with pictures of nasty scrapes on his head and body. "At least now I can donate my brain to NFL research."

All jokes aside, he followed up with a thank you to fans for their supportive messages and "good vibes" and with this message: "I embrace the moments in life when I get knocked down. It makes [me] wiser, more careful and ultimately stronger."
Muhney played Victor's son from 2009 to 2014. Current portrayer Justin Hartley took over the role the same year Muhney left.
