Holy not-Batman: Former daytime star Jeff Branson (ex-Ronan Malloy, The Young and the Restless; ex-Shayne Lewis, Guiding Light; ex-Jonathan Lavery, All My Children) has joined CBS' Supergirl.
Is it a bird? Is it a plane? Nope, it's daytime alum Jeff Branson (ex-Ronan Malloy, The Young and the Restless; ex-Shayne Lewis, Guiding Light; ex-Jonathan Lavery, All My Children) in CBS' series, Supergirl.
The network announced that Branson has taken on the role of Master Jailer, Fort Rozz's most brutal guard. "Seeing the escaped inmates unleash their wrath on National City only stirs up his inner-vigilante, and he goes on a merciless hunt to round up the prisoners and restore justice to the universe," CBS teases of the actor's upcoming story arc on the popular series.
"Could not be more excited to be part of the @supergirlcbs world!" Branson tweeted, adding that he'll be debuting on Monday, February 22.
The casting news came along with the announcement that Laura Vandervoort has been cast as Indigo.
Supergirl airs Mondays at 8/7c on CBS.
