Despite a judge dismissing Victoria Rowell's (ex-Drucilla Winters) case against Y&R, CBS, and Sony last month, the actress is persistent in her fight against the entertainment giants and has filed an amended complaint.
Though a judge ruled last month to dismiss the case filed by Victoria Rowell (ex-Drucilla Winters) against The Young and the Restless, CBS, and Sony, the actress doesn't intend to give up on her claims that she experienced racism while on the daytime soap and that she wasn't rehired solely because she's been vocal about the entertainment giants' lack of diversity in front of and behind the cameras. In fact, she has taken advantage of the judge's promise to allow future filings in the case and has filed an amended complaint.
"On my behalf, my counsel filed an amended complaint to strengthen and clarify my claims of retaliation and discrimination against Sony, CBS and other defendant," Rowell shared with Soap Opera Digest. "We intend to vigorously prosecute these claims."
As fans may recall, Rowell filed her original case against Y&R, CBS, and Sony in February of this year.
What do you think about Rowell continuing her case against CBS, Sony, and Y&R? Are you glad she has another chance to be victorious, or do you think it might be time to drop the court challenge?
