Y&R star receives special honor alongside Moby

The Young and the Restless' Tracey E. Bregman is being honored for her work as an animal activist.

The Young and the Restless' Tracey E. Bregman (Lauren Fenmore) will soon be receiving a purrrfect reward for her work as an animal activist: the actress will be honored alongside popular singer and restaurateur Moby at the National Museum of Animals & Society's first annual gala on Saturday, June 6. Hollywood actress and former soap star Frances Fisher [ex-Deborah Saxon, Edge of Night; ex-Suzette Saxon, Guiding Light] will be presenting Bregman with the honor.

Since its founding in 2010, the National Museum of Animals & Society has been creating a warm, welcoming venue to explore humans' relationship with animals. The museum preserves, interprets, and shares its inspiring legacy of animal protection, nurtures current and future generations' overall awareness about animals in society, and empowers change.

Honorary gala committee members include Ellen Degeneres, Portia de Rossi, Ellen Lavinthal, Simone Reyes, Eric Roberts [ex-Vance Abrams, Y&R], and Joanna Krupa, among others.

For more information on the gala and to purchase tickets, check out the National Museum of Animals & Society's official invitation.
