What to expect on Beyond the Gates

Smitty (Mike Manning), being an investigative journalist for so long, has not lost his nose for a tale or a story. Smitty sees his husband Martin (Brandon Claybon) having what is plain to see as nightmares, and refusing to talk about them. He won’t even acknowledge that they are nightmares, which makes Smitty have questions. Now add Bill Hamilton (Timon Kyle Durett), making several references to him and Martin being on the same team, and saying it would be in everyone's best interest if Smitty reminded Martin of that fact, Smitty has more questions. In Tuesday's episode, Martin dodges Smitty's questions about Bill's insinuations. This frustrates Smitty, but it just proves he’s on the right track, but on the track of what?

Bill, once he found out that Hayley (Marquita Goings ) wasn’t pregnant on Beyond the Gates, actually felt a little sad; part of him wanted a little human that was part of him and part Hayley. In Tuesday's episode, Hayley’s unexpected news throws Chelsea (RhonniRose Mantilla) for a loop. Chelsea and Naomi (Arielle Prepetit) haven't had time to get over Bill’s afair and marriage to Hayley, Hayley's betrayal of their friendship, etc, before news of Bill’s involvement in Ted’s deception regarding his affair hit the community. News that Hayley is pregnant is really the last thing that either of them wants to receive, but in Tuesday's episode, Hayley’s unexpected news throws Chelsea for a loop. Will this just cement the resentment that the sisters have for their father?

Kat and her love of true crime have had her casting suspicions about Eva and Leslie since the moment they entered town, and things started going wrong and feeling worse. Currently, our amateur detective is hot on the case of Leslie, Eva, and Laura being run off the road and poisoned. There are only three options in her mind: Eva did it, Leslie did it, or they both did it. Now it’s a race against time to get something that Jacob can use to put Leslie away before the cunning Leslie pins it all on her daughter. But who can Kat trust? In Tuesday's episode, Kat lets her guard down with Tomas.
