Naomi (Arielle Prepetit) had a really sweet moment with her father Bill (Timon Kyle Duprett) and Naomi let it slip that she loved him. This talk however did not sway Naomi to have the charges dropped, no, all it meant was that she did not want to be the one steering this ship. Her love for her father means she doesn't want to possibly lose him forever by taking him on in court. Naomi told her husband Jacob (Jibre Hordges) that Bill always just chooses when people are no longer needed and needs his day of reckoning. Just not by her hand. In Thursday's episode, Naomi’s renewed push for a game changing settlement stirs tension with Bill. Will Bill bury the case in court and do what he does best or will Bill settle to show his daughter he knows the difference between winning and what's right?

Tyrell (Jaden Lucas Miller) had his world blown up when someone sent pictures of Tyrell in his chess board briefs to the most popular girl at school’s boyfriend. Tyrell got beaten and the pictures are on blast across social media and drew the attention of a reporter who asked one of Tyrell’s parents, Martin (Brandon Claybon) some questions. Martin dealt with it against the wishes of both his husband Smitty (Mike Manning) and Tyrell by going to meet with the principal to discuss. Thursday's episode has Tyrells escalating bullying forcing Martin to reconsider his parenting approach. Does this mean Martin is going to take things to The House of Representatives? Or will he listen to Smitty and step back?
A star is born
It’s no secret that Martin and Smittys daughter Samanatha (Najah Jackson) really wants to be a model. It sparked drama at home between her two parents and between Chelsea (Rhonnirose Mantilla) and Dani (Karla Mosley) who were both vying for the role of being Samantha's manager. On Thursday Samantha's modelling ambitions spark a bold plan with Kat (Colby Muhammed) and Chelsea. These two are heading the fashion line they created, do they see an advertising campaign featuring Samantha? Or do they have much bigger plans for the young lady?
