Dani Dupree (Karla Mosley) had another rough day, after leaving Kat’s (Colby Muhammed) birthday party she hit the bottle again pretty hard and she was looking in the mirror and not liking much of what she saw there, hoping to make herself feel better about herself she practices modelling poses and catwalking, finally she settles on calling Andre (Sean Freeman). Andre arrives to find Dani drunk and unable to stand on her own. Neither makeup, alcohol, nor male company could assist. In Wednesday's episode, Dani hopes to rekindle her lost spark with Pamela’s (Cady McClain) help. It definitely looked like Dani had lost her shine. Can Pamela and Operation Gemstone polish Dani up?

The fallout from Tyrell's (Jaden Lucas Miller) online bullying hit home, and Martin (Brandon Claybon) and Smitty (Mike Manning) are conflicted on the best approach to help Tyrell through this. Martin, as a congressman, serves the people, but his instinct to protect is strong, stronger than Smitty would like. Smitty is pressing for Martin to just let Tyrell handle it in his own way, and if they are needed, they are right there. Martin wants to flex his political power and contacts and shield Tyrell. On Wednesday's episode, Martin and Smitty face new hurdles protecting Tyrell. Martin was contacted by a reporter whose son goes to the same school as Tyrell, asking questions about the photo and the comments. With digging, will this reporter uncover more than just sketchy photos of Tyrell in his chess board briefs?

An anniversary to remember

Leslie (Trisha Mann-Grant) is infuriated that Ted (Maurice Johnson) is ignoring her, and her rage builds. Leslie is a woman out of control. Ted confided in Andre about the affair and how it happened, and Andre listened and was there for Ted. Wednesday's episode has Nicole (Daphnée Duplaix) and Ted confronting lingering issues in their marriage as they prepare to celebrate a relationship milestone. More accurately, these issues feel like a millstone around Ted's neck. Will Ted now tell Nicole about the affair and make things right? Stealing Leslie's thunder before she can wreak chaos on the party may send her over the edge, and where will that leave Eva?
