The mesmerizing tale of Siegfried Fischbacher and Roy Horn is being adapted into a television series, Wild Things, which is in development at Apple TV+. Apart from its exciting subject, the show is also making news for its stellar cast.

The series chronicles the journey of the magician duo who became legendary showmen in Las Vegas by performing illusions involving white tigers. The two saw unprecedented success until a tragedy stopped their shows in 2003.

Wild Things is going to be a star-studded affair as Jude Law and Andrew Garfield are confirmed to play the leads, Siegfried and Roy, respectively. The two will be joined by some acclaimed actors who will play real-life personalities in the series.


Every actor confirmed to appear in Apple TV+’s Wild Things

Jude Law is going to star as Siegfried Fischbacher in Wild Things. The renowned actor has appeared in several films and shows over the years and was recently seen in Netflix’s Black Rabbit and Disney+’s Star Wars: Skeleton Crew.

Andrew Garfield is going to portray Roy Horn in the show. The well-known actor is recognized for playing the titular superhero in The Amazing Spider-Man films. On television, he has appeared in Under the Banner of Heaven, Red Riding, and Sugar Rush.

The two leads are joined by Justin Theroux, who will play Steve Wynn, the owner of the Mirage Hotel in Las Vegas, who signed a five-year deal worth $57.5 million with Siegfried and Roy to make them perform at the venue. Theroux is famous for his roles in the shows The Leftovers and Running Point and the films Beetlejuice Beetlejuice and Mulholland Drive.

Jessica Madsen, who played Cressida Cowper in Netflix’s Bridgerton, will star as Lynette Chappell in Wild Things. Chappell was Siegfried and Roy’s friend who teamed up with them for some acts. Additionally, Brett Gelman is going to play their manager Bernie Yuman. The actor is recognized for playing Murray Bauman in Stranger Things.

Poker Face star Darius Fraser is going to have a recurring role in the Apple TV+ series as Toney Mitchell, a dancer who worked in the duo’s shows. Other supporting cast members in Wild Things include Mindhunter star Cameron Britton, Locke & Key actor Bill Heck, and Godfather of Harlem fame Justin Bartha.

Britton is going to play David Neal, Heck will portray Jimmy Lavery, and Bartha will appear as Ken Feld in the show. Wild Things is going to comprise eight episodes. The show is being created by Only Murders in the Building co-creator John Hoffman. Its official synopsis reads:

“[The show] tells the wild ride relationship tale of showman-magicians Siegfried and Roy, who, along with their white tigers, are tasked with turning Sin City into a family-friendly destination. The duo pushes the concept of illusion versus reality to the extreme, personally and professionally, until tragedy reframes and opens a mystery surrounding their last fateful Las Vegas show.”

Apple TV+ has not yet announced the release date of the series.
