Fargo is among the superhit black comedy crime drama series that have been ruling the genre. Season 1 follows the story of Billy Bob Thornton’s Lorne Malvo, a hitman, who influences Martib Freeman’s Lester Nygaard with his manipulative ways, leaving him to take a path of crime.

The American actor appears as Bill Oswalt, the new police chief who clashes with Allison Tolman’s Deputy Molly about the murders that have been occurring in their small town of Bemidji. While a naive person, he makes it difficult for Molly to solve the cases, as she is sure Lester had some connections with the murders.

In the anthology series, Odenkirk shows the viewers his versatility with his convincing performance of an ignorant cop.

When we discuss Bob Odenkirk, we cannot leave out this neo-Western crime drama, which made him more popular than he previously was. He played the character of Saul Goodman, a lawyer, who helped Bryan Cranston’s Walet White in operating his drug empire without being caught.

He was first introduced in Episode 8 of Season 2, and later became a huge part of the criminal life of Walter White. Just like Cranston, Odenkirk also gave a brilliant performance as the cunning and dubious lawyer.

Odenkirk gained so much love and appreciation for his role in Breaking Bad that his character even got a spinoff series of his own, which, if not better, was as good as the original series. Better Call Saul depicted Saul’s life before he met Walter White.

He is first introduced as Jimmy McGill, who struggles with his professional life. The show depicts how Jimmy’s character declined ethically as he began to be associated with criminals and gangs and became Saul Goodman. It also depicted his personal life and complicated relationship with his brother, and his friend, Kim Wexler.

Better Call Saul not only showed how Jimmy became Saul, but also showed the viewers how the consequences of his unethical activities later came back to him, and how he had to deal with them.

Aside from the above-mentioned shows, Bob Odenkirk has appeared in several other popular shows such as Undone, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Lucky Hank, and many more.
