We are waiting for some new details on The White Lotus Season 4, and Variety has brought the fans some in their latest story, where it mentions that the Cannes Film Festival might be a part of the anthology series this time. Nothing is confirmed at the moment, but given that the French Riviera is where the scene is set this time, it is a real possibility.

The resort city of Cannes is part of the French Riviera and hosts what is considered the most prestigious film festival around the globe. The festival is also part of both the "Big Three" and the "Big Five" film festivals in the industry.

As of this writing, the critically acclaimed show has won 16 Primetime Emmy Awards and a couple of Golden Globes. More might be added to those numbers with The White Lotus Season 4. However, there is time for that because the filming of the show hasn't even begun yet.

All we know is that it has found its primary location, which is a 19th-century chateau called Château de la Messardière, located in the Saint-Tropez region of the country. It's the second time the show has been set up in a European country. The first time it was in Season 2, which was set in Italy. Season 1 and Season 3 were set in Hawaii and Thailand, respectively.

A lot of development remains for The White Lotus Season 4, so details on the story are still tightly under wraps. However, we have two actors confirmed to be appearing in the show: Alexander Ludwig and AJ Michalka.

Alexander Ludwig is best known for his portrayal of the Norse Viking chief Björn Ironside in the historical drama Vikings, which ended its run on March 3, 2021. Additionally, he has also appeared in key roles in shows like Swerve (2017), Heels (2021-2023), and Earth Abides (2024). As for his film appearances, he had played roles in The Hunger Games (2012), Bad Boys for Life (2020), Guy Ritchie's The Covenant (2023), and more.

AJ Michalka is a part of the duo Aly & AJ, known for albums like Into the Rush (2005), Acoustic Hearts of Winter (2006), and Insomniatic (2007), and more. Her acting credits, where she appeared in main roles, include She-Ra and the Princesses of Power (2018-2020), Schooled (2019-2020), and more.

It is not confirmed if any actors will return in The White Lotus Season 4, but it is a possibility because that has happened before in the series. Jennifer Coolidge's Tanya McQuoid was in Season 1 and Season 2, Natasha Rothwell's Belinda Lindsey was in Season 1 and Season 3, and Jon Gries's Greg Hunt has appeared in all the seasons.

Every season has brought characters and stories that have stayed with the audiences and the critics. We can expect the same with the show's upcoming season too.
