In the Season 36 finale, titled "Estanger Things," which premieres on Sunday, May 18, 2025, Macleod will play Milhouse for the first time. Alongside adult versions of Bart and Lisa, Milhouse appears in the episode as a future version of himself. The passage offers an early look at Macleod's interpretation of the character, despite the fact that he only gets one word.
Macleod is not new to The Simpsons. She previously sang "Two Badges, One Mind" in the 2022 episode "Bart the Cool Kid." Outside of the show, she began her musical career with the band Private Life and eventually joined The Sweet Potatoes.
