Six episodes of the series are already out, and there is intense anticipation surrounding the content of the episodes. The sixth episode ends with a huge cliffhanger. The Manipulated Episodes 7 and 8 are available for streaming on Disney+, which is already a great streaming service for multiple K-dramas. It cannot be denied that Ji Chang-wook is perfectly able to capture the essence and complexity of his character in the series. The toil and struggle that his character, Tae-joong, is going through because of An Yohan’s manipulation is perfectly depicted by Ji Chang-wook’s acting prowess.

In the first four episodes of The Manipulated, the focus was distinctly on Ji Chang-wook’s character. However, in the fifth and sixth episodes, the focus shifts to Tae-joong’s tormentor, An Yohan. The very talented Doh Kyung-soo helms the witty and psychopathic character of An Yohan with a distinct authenticity that truly leaves an impact.

In the fifth episode of the series, we finally get to see the whole scenario that led to Tae-joong getting the blame for murder. In the fifth and sixth episodes, Tae-joong’s interaction with An Yohan also becomes a crucial driving factor in the storyline.

The other cast members of The Manipulated are also equally significant in bringing the storyline to life. Some of the other cast members are Kim Jong-soo, Lee Kwang-soo, and many more. The action-packed episodes of The Manipulated feature multiple talented actors. Each of them is able to bring out the intense storyline with distinct perfection.

At the end of the sixth episode, Tae-joong is almost successful in escaping. The race that Yohan orchestrated begins with an intense atmosphere in the sixth episode. However, this time, Tae-joong is prepared. Unlike the earlier times during which he found himself in a troubled situation and almost gave up, this time, he decides to fight back. He uses his knowledge to escape this dire situation. He asks to have a meeting with Yohan before the race starts and wittily checks the location from the high-rise building to plan his escape.

Yohan does not understand Tae-joong’s plan initially. However, he does eventually understand Tae-joong's motive, but it is too late. The sixth episode ends with Tae-joong escaping on a bike. Though before he reaches safety, Yohan shoots at him. The episode ends with a cliffhanger.

There is no clear indication of Tae-joong's safety. Hence, the seventh episode of The Manipulated is definitely going to be worth investing our time in. It will finally reveal Tae-joong's fate and set the stage for further intense moments. The story of the series is definitely taking a positive direction with a fast pace.
