The first trailer of Fallout season 2 has been released, and it begins with Lucy MacLean saying,
"I'm looking for someone."
Lucy was looking for 'someone' in season one as well: her father, Hank MacLean, who had disappeared. She did find him, but learnt about the heinous crimes he had committed. At the end of season one, Hank runs away to New Vegas.
In season two, Lucy is looking for him again, but this time, for an entirely different reason. We see Lucy and The Ghoul in New Vegas, as The Ghoul tells her what happened there years ago. The trailer also shows Robert Edwin House, the one responsible for the bombings.
Fallout season two trailer
The trailer for Fallout season two gives us a sneak peek at what's coming for Lucy and The Ghoul as they travel to find the Vault-Tec leaders. Lucy now knows what Hank did and has disowned her father for his actions. But we haven't seen the last of Hank.
Season two's trailer tells us that the upcoming season will have flashback scenes, telling us more about The Ghoul when he used to be Howard Cooper. We will get to see how he knew about the impending bombings and also knew Mr. House. Despite knowing what was coming, Cooper was taken aback by the attacks on Los Angeles and managed to survive them.
Another part of the trailer showcases one of the game's most popular aspects: Deathclaws. They are creatures with claws and are giant in size. Deathclaws are extremely hard to deal with in the games, and that remains true for the show as well, as we see Lucy and The Ghoul face one. There are both scenes from the past and present in the trailer, and while we cannot decode everything yet, the story is surely getting more serious and more violent in season two.
