Perfect Match Season 3 star AD invited show host Nick Lachey on her What's the Reality? podcast on the August 6, 2025 episode. The two talked about exciting events, twists, turns, and cast members from the Netflix show.
They also opened up about getting cast members from various franchises to join the third season of Perfect Match. Further, Nick shared how certain things unfolded and were a consequence of the twists featured on the show.

Talking about how she didn't expect cast members from a range of shows and different franchises, AD stated
"And then like people from Love Island, and Juliette from Siesta Key, what a show! Talk about reality royalty. She's been doing that forever. And then, Bachelor Nation is just such a crazy combination, which I obviously never saw coming. And I never saw a lot of things coming."
Perfect Match Season 3 host, Nick Lachey, and cast member, AD, discuss cast members, twists, turns, and more
During Nick Lachey's appearance on AD's August 6, 2025, podcast episode, she asked him about the variety of cast members and how he felt bringing stars from outside the Netflix universe.
Nick stated that he liked that twist, and added that it started with a celebration, and then as it got bigger:
"I thought it added something bringing our two Bachelor Bachelorette stars into the mix, and I can see that, you know, being a format change that continues to work, you know, Perfect Match going forward."
AD mentioned that it was "so cool" and that none of them saw it coming. She mentioned Juliette from Siesta Key, Bachelor Nation cast members, and more.
She recalled the twists and turns featured on Perfect Match Season 3. Nick responded that he loved the cast members' reactions. AD recalled that whenever Nick arrived in the house, it was "rarely" good news.
He told her not to look at it as "bad news" but as "interesting" or "different" news. Further, He shared a fascinating perspective regarding the twists and turns. Nick asked,
"You know what, those moments, it's interesting when you look back, though. Do you think that things would have turned out for you maybe the way they did if that moment hadn't happened?"
AD recalled one of the major twists from Perfect Match Season 3 Episode 6. It was when Lucy and Daniel chose Madison and Ollie to go on dates with. That also meant that their partners, Freddie and AD, had to go home.
She admitted that that twist came as a "very devastating shocker". In response to Nick's perspective about the twists and turns, AD shared:
"But to your point, I don't think my life...I would be sitting here and doing the things and feeling the way and being engaged and pregnant, had that not happened because, one, it tested our relationship for sure, like, and that's what the show is about, testing the relationship."
The Perfect Match star admitted that despite the twists and turns being devastating, they made sense. She now understood "why" they needed to happen.
