The romantic drama, Sullivan's Crossing, has been renewed for a Season 4. The series was renewed for a Season 4 in early June 2025 while Season 3 was airing. Based on Robyn Carr’s novel, the romantic drama follows the story of Maggie Sullivan, a neurosurgeon who comes back to her hometown in Nova Scotia after some legal trouble.
This move allows her to reconnect with her father, Sully, and also find purpose and love in life. Although not much of the storyline and cast have been shared yet, Sullivan’s Crossing is expected to return with most of its main cast, and additional recurring characters, with the story picking up from where it left off in Season 3.

Sullivan’s Crossing Season 4: When will the new season premiere? Release date and cast details
The show premiered in 2023 and has aired three seasons since. It followed the lives of people living in the town of Halifax and their struggles, focusing mainly on the relationships of the residents.
Season 3 of Sullivan’s Crossing premiered on April 27, 2025, in Canada and May 14, 2025, in the US. Although a premiere date for Season 4 has not been shared yet, it can be expected to release in 2026, as since 2023, we have been getting one season every year.
Since all three seasons of the series have had 10 episodes each, the episode count might also be the same for the upcoming season. Since Sullivan's Crossing might continue the stories of the characters, the same cast might also be back for the new season, which includes Morgan Kohan, who plays Maggie Sullivan, Tom Jackson, Chad Michael Murray, and Andrea Menard, among others.
Sullivan's Crossing Season 4 plot details
Apart from the official announcement of the renewal of Sullivan’s Crossing Season 4, not much has been shared yet. Therefore, the plot and storylines of the characters remain unknown as of now.
However, the series is expected to pick up from where it left off in Season 3, where we were introduced to a new character who brought a huge twist in Sullivan’s Crossing. At the end of Season 3, Maggie had decided to open up her own clinic and stay there forever with Cal, but the arrival of a sudden figure from Maggie's past brought a major twist in their relationship.
The new character introduced was Liam, Maggie’s husband, whom neither Cal nor Maggie’s father knew about. This new development in their relationship might change a lot in the dynamic of the duo and might be the primary focus of the new season.
Apart from Maggie and Cal, her father, Sully, might be off on a new adventure with Helen, as she asked him to go to Ireland with her. With these relationships going through new changes—some good and some bad—Season 4 of Sullivan's Crossing will be filled with more drama, twists, and romance.
