Stranger Things is currently one of Netflix’s most talked-about shows.

The finale of the show is knocking at your door! On the last day of the year, fans can see the episode Rightside Up. It will be streamed at 8 p.m. ET and 5 p.m. PT by Netflix. This will be the show's longest episode ever. It will have a duration of 2 hours and 8 minutes. In volumes 1 and 2, the tension has been created. Now the finale promises to deliver a powerful ending.

Fans have recently observed something strange in this final season. It had an outfit that did not fit the time. It was similar to a common mistake in another series, Game of Thrones. One person wrote on X,

"Close enough, welcome back GoT season 8."

Fans laughed at the mistake and made comparisons between the two series. This fashion issue sparked an online debate.

Warning: Minor spoiler ahead for those who haven't started watching season 5 of Stranger Things.

What outfit was wrong?

Stranger Things viewers spotted an unexpected error in Season 5, Volume 2. The logo of Under Armour can be seen when Holly Wheeler rolls up her sleeve when escaping the cocoon of Vecna. The brand itself was not present in 1987.

Holly shouldn't have been wearing the brand since it was only founded in 1996. Devoted fans caught the quick and easy-to-miss scene. Stranger Things is a series that takes great care in detail, which is why this error is even more surprising.

Game of Thrones comparison

Stranger Things viewers are discussing how this error reminds them of Game of Thrones season 8. According to an X user,

"It’s so like Game of Thrones season 8, where there was a Starbucks cup on the table."

G.O.T. became famous for some funny mistakes. Fans saw a coffee cup in Winterfell. They also noticed a water bottle on the floor. In one scene, an extra wore modern clothes. These small errors made the show even more talked about. These gaffes rendered the last season quite unpopular and disappointing to many viewers.

At this point, fans are concerned that Stranger Things might go through the same problem. The Under Armour logo seen on Holly Wheeler's shirt feels out of place in 1987. Most fans agree it is minor, but they hope the finale avoids bigger mistakes.

Stranger Things has long received praise for its attention to detail. The clothes, motorcycles, music, mall, and even haircuts are all good reflections of the decade. Costume designer Amy Parris has done a fantastic job of making the 1980s setting appear natural. This accuracy is one reason fans love the show.

That's why the brand's logo appearing on Holly's outfit felt odd. The brand did not exist in 1987, which makes the slip stand out. Holly was styled to look younger, which may explain the mistake. Fans hope the final episode keeps the high standards they expect.
