Rabin Angeles and Angela Muji's latest Filipino drama, Seducing Drake Palma, has been confirmed to return for Season 2. The renewal and release window was recently shared with fans during Vivarkada, a grand fan convention. in the Philippines.

The drama features acclaimed actors, many from another hit series, Ang Mutya ng Section E, which has also been renewed for Season 2. As for Angeles' show, the next season will follow Book 2, "Dating Alys Perez", by Beeyotch aka Ariesa Jane Domingo.

During the event, it was revealed that Seducing Drake Palma Season 2 (Dating Alys Perez) will be released in 2026. Season 1 is currently running, and only a few episodes are left until the finale.

The show has introduced Shaira Silos, Drake's elementary schoolmate who loves him, and Tripp Marco Palma, Drake's cousin. Shaira is infatuated with Drake, while Tripp has feelings for Alys.

This sets the stage for confusion and misunderstandings between Drake and Alys, potentially leading to a breakup. Since the drama follows the book, a break-up is sure to happen.

During the recent fancon, Vivarkada, it was announced that Seducing Drake Palma Season 2 (Dating Alys Perez) will come out in 2026 on Viva One. It will bring back Alys, Drake, and Tripp after school life ended.

However, their circumstances are about to change dramatically. Season 2 will pick up after four years, with everyone having completed school and now heading towards a new journey in their lives. In the book, Alys and Drake have already broken up, and Alys is dating Tripp, who has been treating her like a "princess" since the day they met.

They are serious about their relationship, but Alys' life takes a turn when Drake reenters her life. Although Drake’s feelings remain unchanged, Alys has experienced heartache and betrayal because of him.

As seen in Season 1, Shaira's presence around Drake has started to affect Alys. In the latest episode 10, Alys notices her boyfriend with Shaira while she is leaving with Tripp.

Not only that but the preview for Episode 11 also teases a shocking moment where Alys catches Shaira at Drake’s house, dressed in her pajamas and wrapping her arms around him. What’s even more unsettling is that Drake doesn’t push her away, hinting that he might actually be starting to get drawn toward her.

This explains that a storm is on its way, all set to hit Alys and Drake's relationship. However, this doesn't mean that fans will get a sad ending. Drake Palma and Alys Perez are meant to be together, but before that, they have to face major challenges.
