The 62-year-old TV host has mastered the show's format and plans to skip the clips before he starts his journey at the infamous "Bonfire." Here, the couples interact about their relationships and can access clips of their partners getting involved with the singles.

He is also a podcast host, Bonfire Talks With Mark L. Walberg, where he calls reality TV stars, celebrities, and friends to chime in about their life experiences on relationships, love, growth, and more. With a successful podcaster and TV host career, he has also tried his acting skills in Hang Time, Son Of The Beaches, Sneakerheads, and more.

During an interview with Netflix Tudum, Mark L. Walberg opened up about how his presence in Temptation Island works as a disruptor because he is in charge of talking to the couples if something goes off. He said:

"I’m trying not to get into their experience because when I show up, it disrupts whatever they’re going through. Now, there have been times, in this season specifically, when something kind of goes down and we have to make an adjustment, and I come in and talk to them."

He elaborated on the emotional rollercoaster of being a host, reflecting on the inevitable ups and downs accompanying the job. Watching things turn downward right in front of him is complicated. Yet, amidst these challenges, he finds a silver lining.
