Family Guy is gearing up for it's 450th episode, and this one involved some serious bonding between the mother-son duo of Lois and Stewie Griffin. TV Line has shared the first look at the episode, which shows Lois and Stewie laying down on a carpet, clearly stoned. For the first time, the show will depict Lois understanding Stewie's words as they have some important conversations.

Executive producer Richard Appel spoke to the outlet about what the episode is about, where he says,

"They talk about the stuff that fans would want them to talk about — the history of their relationship, Stewie's desire to kill her, his opinion of her, hers of him, their approach to life, and similarities they might have that we couldn't touch on between two characters who don't speak to each other. The third act is basically a two-character play."

Alec Sulkin, who also serves as a producer on the show then went on and talked about the plot and how Stewie goes to foster care as he said,

"The episode starts with Brian going to a [dispensary] and bringing home gummies. Stewie thinks they're candy, so he gets into them, and Lois is deemed an unfit parent."

The 24th season of Family Guy is all set for some of the most chaotic episodes of the season, and with everything we know about the upcoming episodes, including the unexpected bonding between Lois and Stewie, we are in for a ride with a lot of gags and more of the family. Two episodes have been released so far, with the next episode dropping on February 15.

The lineup remains the same, which means we are getting Seth MacFarlane as Peter Griffin, Brian Griffin, Stewie Griffin, Glenn Quagmire, Carter Pewterschmidt, and Tom Tucker, Alex Borstein as Lois Griffin, Seth Green as Chris Griffin, Mila Kunis as Meg Griffin, Mike Henry as Bruce, Patrick Warburton as Joe Swanson, and Arif Zahir as Cleveland Brown, with supporting voices from Gary Cole as Principal Shepherd, Sanaa Lathan as Donna Tubbs, and Jennifer Tilly as Bonnie Swanson.

The show has also been renewed for three more seasons, which means we'll get to stay with the family until the 27th season. Expect more chaos from the Griffins, more unhinged cutaway gags, more cultural satire that refuses to age quietly, and more proof that Family Guy still has zero interest in winding down.

Family Guy is available to stream on Hulu.
