“Excited to come back”: Gabriel Macht breaks silence on his return as Harvey Specter in Suits LA Episode 4

Gabriel Macht is all set to reprise his role as Harvey Specter in Suits LA. The actor will be making his first appearance on the show in its fourth episode, titled Batman Returns. NBC confirmed the development with a teaser after the release of episode 3.

Around the same time, Gabriel Macht had an interview with Bleeding Cool, where he talked about his return to the Suits franchise. Expressing his excitement about reprising his role, the actor said:

“I was excited to come back and revisit the world of Suits, and I had a great time with the ensemble of players that are working on that show.”

Gabriel Macht played attorney Harvey Specter across all nine seasons of USA Network’s Suits from 2011 to 2019. The character became a fan favorite due to his quick-witted personality. When Suits LA was confirmed to be in development at NBC, fans were hoping to see Harvey’s return.

The wishes are finally being fulfilled in the show's fourth episode, which will be released on March 16, 2025. Opening up about his comeback, Gabriel said with his appearance, he feels he is passing the baton to Stephen Amell, the lead of the spin-off series:

“I definitely see this as a passing of the baton to Stephen and the rest of the cast and crew in this Suits LA universe.”

The actor further said he is excited to see how the new series pans out, as he trusts the creators:

“Suits LA is in great hands, and I'm looking forward to seeing how the new team shapes the series.”

Since the conclusion of Suits, Gabriel has largely stayed away from television, and the spin-off marks his first major appearance on screen in six years. The actor has previously been seen in shows like The Others and Archangel, but it was Suits that made him a household name.

In the spin-off series, Harvey has been introduced as an old friend of the lead, Ted Black. It has been established that the two used to play baseball together in their younger days. Meanwhile, the show continues to explore the world of Ted, who runs an entertainment law firm in Los Angeles.

Apart from Gabriel, Rick Hoffman has also been confirmed to reprise his role as Louis Litt in the spin-off series. The rest of the cast includes Bryan Greenberg, Lex Scott Davis, Josh McDermitt, Rachelle Goulding, Alice Lee, Troy Winbush, and Azita Ghanizada.

New episodes of Suits LA are aired on NBC on Sundays.
